SKIN PEELS

Skin peels are specific acids and enzyme applications designed improve surface texture and brighten the skin while helping to promote an even skin tone. Skin regenerating results include reduction of fine lines, age spots, pore size, hyperpigmentation, scars, rosacea and acne, revealing a healthier, more vibrant skin. Each peel is customized to your skin type and needs.

A series of peels is always recommended for optimum results.

Mild Peels

These peels are offered with a facial or as a standalone treatment. Mild peels available are:

Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Salicylic Acid and Mandelic Acid

These AHA and BHA peels are designed for effective resurfacing and rebuilding of the dermal matric through the combination of acids and brighteners such as kojic acid, azelaic acid and phytic acids.

Pumpkin Peel

Packed with Vitamins A and C, this pumpkin peel exfoliates, reduces oil and dissolves dead skin cells to provide a beautiful glow to the skin. This peel is designed for resilient skin.

Medium Depth Peels

Medium depth peels go a little deeper vs. a mild peel. Some peeling and flaking normally occur days 2-7. These are standalone treatments and cannot be added to a facial.

Jessner Peel

The Jessner peel is a highly effective peeling agent formulated with a blend of resorcinol, lactic acid and salicylic acid. The Jessner peel is ideal for lightening areas of hyperpigmentation to treat mild acne or improve the appearance of acne scars, and to improve sun-damaged skin. The Jessner peel strips off the damaged surface skin while stimulating the development of fibroplasts and collagen in the deeper dermal layers. Repeated treatments will bring significant improvement to the tone, texture and quality of the skin.

TCA Peel

The 10% TCA Depigmentation Peel is mild but very effective and delivers lighteners down to the melanocyte without traumatizing the skin. The TCA Peel is buffered with azelaic, arbutin and kojic acids, which are tyrosinase inhibitors that control hyperpigmentation, melasma, or sun damage for all Fitzpatricks 1 - 6. The combination of these acids is a beautiful peeling treatment for evening skin tone, reducing acne and retexturing the skin.

Salicylic Acid (20%)

Salicylic acid, the same active ingredient found in many over-the-counter acne medications, is also a great skin peel therapy. Ideal for removing build-ups of dead skin and oils from the surface of the skin and, particularly, from clogged pores, salicylic acid also stimulates collagen formation. Great for reduction of fine lines and pore size and for evening out pigmentation. Also a great way to improve acne-prone skin.
